About Us:
The Singapore Valley Awards (SVA) is an annual entrepreneurship award program dedicated to empowering students with promising business ideas. SVA offers fully-sponsored internships in China, providing an immersive experience in the Chinese market and real-world entrepreneurship. Established in early 2017 by a group of entrepreneurs with China-centric businesses and supported by Singapore-based private equity firm Tembusu Partners, SVA's primary mission is to foster innovation and entrepreneurship among undergraduates in Singapore.
Position Description:
We are seeking passionate and ambitious students to join our SVA internship program. As an SVA intern, you will embark on a journey to explore the vibrant world of entrepreneurship, gain invaluable industry knowledge, and work alongside the founders of successful internet companies, corporate leaders, and experienced venture capitalists. This is an opportunity to immerse yourself in some of China's top companies, many of which have achieved global recognition.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with venture capital firms and technology companies to gain hands-on experience in entrepreneurship.
Participate in meaningful projects that will enhance your understanding of the startup ecosystem.
Explore the inner workings of household-name Chinese companies and emerging startups.

Internship Requirements
Selection Process:
Apply via the SVA link in the job description, selected individuals will be invited to pitch their business ideas to our panel of judges.
Qualifications:
Enrollment: You must be a currently enrolled undergraduate student in Singapore.
Passion: A genuine passion for entrepreneurship and innovation.
Skills: Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Internship Duration:
Internship will take place between January and May 2024 with a minimum commitment period of 3 months.
Pitching Dates:
Live in-person pitching sessions are scheduled for either November 1, 2023, or November 6, 2023. Please note that there are no alternative pitching dates available.
Other Benefits and Welfare
During the internship period, award winners will receive SGD 1,500 per month of the internship (on top of the stipend companies may provide), up to SGD 6,000 and return airfare.
